Gina Lynn Mann

Gina Lynn (Russell) Mann, 47, of Fremont, Ohio, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018. She was born the daughter of Stephen Lee and Barbara (Miles) Lynch on March 31, 1971 in Fremont, Ohio. Gina was a former Sandusky County Youth Correction Officer, and a full-time mom, devotedly raising her four children. She was a loving daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, cousin, mother and friend. Gina was a free-spirited person who could always be found helping those in need. Gina loved animals, especially dolphins, crafting with her family, camping, fishing, working in her garden, and bowling. She was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan, as well as a member of the Fremont Eagles and the Moose.

Left to cherish her memory are her children; Morgan (Cliffton) Rosalez, Macy (Brad) Dettrow, Evan Proxmire, Jensen Mann, grandmother; Shirley (Arthur) Shoemaker, mother; Barbara Slasinski, siblings; Anthony Russell, Virginia (Marcus) Ashford, grandchildren; Nolan and Nora Rosalez, Mylee and Maverik Dettrow, and numerous family and friends.

Gina is preceded in death by her father; Stephen Lynch, step-father; Scott Slasinski, grandfather; James Miles, grandparents; John and Wanda Lynch, and Chester and Donna Russell. A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 1:00pm at the Clyde Moose Lodge, 134 Eaton Avenue, Clyde, OH, 43410.

In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to the charity of your choice: Domestic Violence Groups, local Humane Societies, and the American Cancer Society.

It’s heattbreaking to hear you were taken away I remember as a kid we were always over at your house , staying the night driving you absolutely crazy we were wild and free , No matter if we were having a bad day or upset everytime you always knew how to light up a room and put a smile on our faces , I considered you my second mom , you absolutely inspired me as a kid and you were so beautiful and care free I always said I wanted to be so spiritual and so caring and loving like you . You really were an angel and you had the most beautiful kids Macy was my bestfriend I’m so thankful I got to be apart of your life and also be apart of your kids life’s and grow with them every summer I remember when Evan was just three that was my little buddy Mann. I love you momma and sure are gonna be missed Rest In Peace beautiful angel 😇

I still remember the first time I met you. It was my 23rd birthday. A group of us girls were all going out bar hopping. You came with Lisa. I remember I liked you right away. You were so funny. I'm not a very social person but I bonded with you that night. You were a very special person and will definitely be missed.
