Helen Braun Seizert

Perrysburg, Ohio. Affectionately known as “Sis”, Helen was born the daughter of Robert and

Helen (Gardner) Braun on July 14, 1925 in Hamilton, OH. She was married to Dean Seizert for

66 years, and he survives. Helen earned a degree at the University of Toledo, and was a medical

technician at Toledo Hospital for several years until the birth of her first child. Helen also

obtained her teaching degree, and taught biology at Mason Consolidated. She later moved to

Worthington, OH, and taught biology and chemistry at Worthington High School.

Surviving is her husband, Dean, children, Gerald (Candice) Seizert, Ronald (Beth) Seizert, Chad

(Barbara) Seizert, Donna (Keith) Henson, 9 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Romilda Petersen.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at St.

Clare Commons, 12469 Five Point Road, Perrysburg, OH, 43551. Pastor Tim Philabaum will be

officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Thomas Worthington High School in

support of the science department, 300 West Granville Road, Worthington, Ohio 43085.
