

Lawrence A. Halbeisen, 58, of Clyde, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2012 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born August 3, 1953 in Fremont, OH the son of Howard A. and Barbara A. (Le Jeune) Halbeisen.
Larry worked in the pressroom of Whirlpool Corp., retiring April 1, 2012 after 39 ½ years of service. He was an avid bowler. He was a car enthusiast who enjoyed attending car shows, hot rods and collecting old cars. Larry was particularly fond of his 1962 Impala, a project he anticipated working on after his retirement. He was a member of the Eagles in Clyde.
Surviving are his three sons: Jeremy (Melinda) Halbeisen, Jeret Halbeisen both of Green Springs, OH Justin (Melissa) Halbeisen of Macon, Georgia; his mother, Barbara A. Halbeisen of Fremont; grandchildren: Cheyenne, Jeremiah, Baylie, Kobie, Jordan; step-granddaughters: Shania, Diamin; step-great-grandson, Anthony; siblings: Michael (Marilynn) of Michigan, Terrence (Kimberly) of Fremont, OH Therese (Clyde) Strader of Norwalk, OH; Jeffrey (Jeannie) of Bridgewater, VA; Anthony (Tracy) of Green Springs, OH; Kevin of Fremont, OH; first wife, Anna (Drown) Dodson of Fremont, OH; also many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
Visitation will take place Monday, April 16 from 2-8PM at Keller-Ochs-Koch-Mason Funeral & Cremation Service, 416 S. Arch Street, Fremont, OH. A Mass of Resurrection will be Thursday, April 19 beginning at 11:30AM from Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fr. Ken Lil officiating.
