To the entire Laurer family,
Jane and I are so sorry to hear about your mom. She was a such a special person. What a sense of humor she had; she loved telling stories. She had a great time at Edmeyer family reunions, we used to go to when we were growing up. She had such a strong faith. That came in handy raising you six boys, I am sure about that. She loved her extended family and all those beautiful grandchildren. She loved St. Joseph Catholic Church and school. She will be greatly missed by all. God bless you guys. RIP Birdie!
Love,
Neal and Jane Miesle

To Steve, my mom, Lydia, little brother, Logan, and the rest of the Laurer family... I am so sorry for your loss. Although I wasn’t fortunate enough to spend a lot of time with Birdie, she is someone I will never forget! She was always so kind, full of life, and absolutely the life of the party! I’ll always remember her smile and infectious laugh. I hope the many wonderful memories you’ve made with her over the years brings you comfort during this difficult time. Sending all of my love!

Tim and Tom and family, so sorry to hear about your mama. Losing a mother is the hardest. Hold on to the great memories you shared. I remember she came to our after high school graduation party and dressed up like a majorette and twirled her baton! And of course the story of your mom and mine being roommates in the hospital giving birth to us July babies! What a great mom and friend I'm sure. May God wrap his loving arms around you all. Love and blessings, Laurie

Birdie was the best neighbor ever! Always so generous in sharing her elderberry pies, delicious cookies and homemade jam.
We couldn’t wait till Halloween every year to see what costume she’d wear as she sat in the driveway waiting for the kids.
We’ll miss you, Birdie.
