Marian Strohl

Marian E. Strohl (88) of Fremont, died Monday, September 16, 2013 at Elmwood at the Springs, Green Springs. She was born November 10, 1924 in Fremont to the late Rudolf and Ethel (Murry) Stegman. Marian was a housekeeper for many private homes in Fremont, including the Tschumy, Brown and Dundore families. She was a big fan of daytime soap operas and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles as well as crocheting, sewing and fishing.

Mrs. Strohl is survived by her stepson: Harris (Ruth) Strohl Jr. of Mason, MI, niece: Gloria (Ronald) Quaintance of Clyde, Sisters: Dorothy (Lyle) Kohlenberg and Linda Stegman of Fremont and Peggy (Rollyn) Dinan of Clyde. Brother: James Stegman of Vista, Ca and numerous step grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Harris Strohl who preceded her in death in 1992, sister: Betty Tallman and brothers: Dale, Bill, Rudy, and Jerry Stegman.

Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 19, 2013 at the Keller-Ochs-Koch-Mason Funeral Home with visitation being from 1:00 PM until the time of the service on Thursday with services being conducted by Susann Robitski Zimmerman, Certified Celebrant. Burial will follow at Dana Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Elmwood at the Springs or Fremont Memorial Hospice through the funeral home.
