Peggy Lou Roberts

Peggy Lou Roberts, 89, of Fremont, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Valley View Healthcare Center. She was born the daughter of I.K. and Mildred (Braden) Aldrich in Fremont, on April 27, 1927. Peggy graduated from Ross High School in 1945, and three years later married Clyde E. Roberts Jr. on November 12, 1948. Throughout her life, she had various secretarial positions, and retired after 27 years working as the secretary for Kessler Sales Corporation in Fremont.

Peggy is survived by her children Todd (Rita) Roberts of Willard, Ohio and Kathie (Michael) Geib, of Helena, Ohio, grandchildren, Drue E. (Betsy) Roberts of Granville, OH, Erin K. (Wendell) Slone of Willard, OH, Tyson F. (Jessica) Geib, Seth E. (Rebecca) Geib, both of Perrysburg, OH, and 7 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde, on August 10, 2001, mother, Mildred, on March 5, 1980, father, I.K. on October 15, 1987, and brother, Robert Aldrich in 1965.

Peggy’s family would like to acknowledge her caregivers, Donna and Richard Norris, along with Rick McKinley, for all of their wonderful care and love over the past three and a half years. They would also like to thank ProMedica Hospice for their care as well.

Graveside services for Peggy will take place at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, May 6, 2016 at Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to her family.
