Raymond Stanley Borys

Raymond S. Borys, 76, of Fremont, died Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at his residence. He was born June 27, 1939 in Fremont, OH the son of Stanley and Doris (Willey) Borys. In 1961, he married Dorothy Reiter at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. He retired from Ohio Power after 30 years of service and enjoyed collecting model trains and gardening.

Surviving is his wife of 54 years, Dorothy Borys of Fremont, OH; daughters Sue (Tom) Stalter of Bowling Green, OH; Diane Borys of Fremont, OH; Linda Lewis of Fremont, OH; Kim (Scott) Coffman of Pemberville, OH; grandchildren Emily and Bethany Stalter, Nick, Cory and Luke Coffman, Sam Lewis; brother Don Borys of Fremont, OH. He was preceded in death by his infant son Thomas and parents.

At Raymond’s request there will be no services. Those wishing to acknowledge his memory may consider a memorial to Liberty Center or New Hope Vineyard Outreach- “Angel Wings” Program –providing special needs children and adults the opportunity to attend proms, dances and social functions.
