Rita R. Kwiatkowski

Rita R. Kwiatkowski, 81, of Fremont died late Thursday night at Bethesda Care Center with her family by her side. She was born February 4, 1931 in Sandusky County the daughter of Raymond and Rose (Mosser) Widman. She graduated from St. Joseph Central Catholic High School in 1949. She married James Kwiatkowski October 4, 1952 in St. Joseph Catholic Church. Rita was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Marion Society as well as the Confraternity Society. She loved animals and gardening, and spending time with her family. She was a loving, compassionate, and supportive wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Debra (Ronald) Conner of Fremont; 8 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Kwiatkowski; daughter, Patricia Molyet; brother James Kwiatkowski; aunt, Kathryn Foos; and step-mother, Elizabeth Hoffert Widman.

A Mass of Resurrection will be 10:30AM Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Michael Zacharias officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Sandusky County Humane Society c/o the funeral home.
