

Sisto R. Reyna, 85, of Fremont died Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at his residence. He was born April 1, 1929 in Tyler, TX, the son of Dimetrio and Marcela (Rodriguez) Reyna. On November 26, 1955 he married Maria de Jesus Garcia, she preceded him in death on May 25, 1993. Sisto retired from Kelsey Hayes Foundry in 1992. He was a member of the United Steel Workers of Local 1915, and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where he was a communion distributor and ministered to jail inmates. Sisto achieved the status of 3rd and 4th Degree Knights of Columbus and was an honorary lifetime member. He strengthened his devotion to the church and Christ within the Cursillo Movement.
Surviving are his daughters Marcy (Mike) Brickner of Fremont and Maria (Tim)Comer of Toledo; sisters; Gracela (Ralph) Tolento of Fostoria, OH, San Juana Ambriz of Houston, TX, brothers; Enestacio Reyna of Fremont, OH, Jose Angel Reyna of Austin, TX, in-laws; Delores (Alfred) Tolento of Lake Whales, FL, Angela (Ray) Ramirez, Joseph Garcia, Jake (Elaine) Garcia, Alfred Clinger, all of Burgoon, OH, Manuel Garcia of Columbus, OH, Willie (Jean) Garcia of Tiffin, OH, grandchildren Andrea and Thomas Comer.
Sisto is preceded in death by his wife; Maria, parents, sisters; Octavia Martinez, Rita Velasquez, and brothers; Pedro and Juan Reyna.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, March 1, 2015 from 2-8pm at Keller-Koch-Chudzinski Funeral Home, 416 S. Arch Street, Fremont, OH with Knights of Columbus Standing guard from 5:30pm to 7:30 pm with a service following. A prayer service will also be held after the Knights of Columbus with Deacon James Hammer. A Mass of Resurrection will begin at 10:30 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 709 Croghan Street, Fremont, OH. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Ballville Volunteer Fire Department.
The family would like to a give special thanks to Dr. Charles Valone and staff, Dr. John Bondra, Dr. Steven Rusher, Dr. Alfred Vargas, the staff at Valley View Healthcare Center and all his physical therapists for their care and support, as well as to the Ballville Fire Department, and Sandusky County EMS and Life Squad for their services.
