Virginia Guerrero, 68, of Fremont, went to be with her daughter, Jennifer Guerrero, on Tuesday, October 16, 2018. She was born the daughter of Marcos and Jesus (Cruz) Herrera on March 17, 1950 in Toledo, Ohio. She married Andres Guerrero, and together they raised four children. Virginia was a strong woman, both in her faith and her personality. She cherished her family, and her only grandson, Andres, was her world. Virginia loved getting together with her family to throw parties and decorate for any occasion or holiday, but enjoyed Christmas most of all. She is sure to be with her daughter and the Lord, celebrating and having a party in Heaven.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Andres Guerrero, children; Melanie Guerrero, Veronica (Luis) Esquivel, Martin Guerrero, all of Fremont, grandchildren; Jennifer Guerrero, Hannah and Andres Esquivel, siblings; Alice Davis, Mary Papesh, Molly Rodriguez, Patsy Ortega, Margie Seres, Lucy Herrera, Fred and George Herrera, Ricardo “Rick” Herrera, Isabel Keyes, sisters-in-law; Filomena Esquivel, Maria Guzman, Elena Venegas, brothers-in-law; Marcy Guerrero, Guillermo and Lupe Guerrero, and numerous cherished nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter; Jennifer Guerrero, sister; Clara Paul, and brothers; Chris and Joe Chapa.
Visitation will take place Friday, October 19, 2018 from 6pm-8pm at Keller-Koch-Chudzinski Funeral Home, 416 S. Arch Street, Fremont, Ohio, 43420. Additional visitation will be held Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Victory Church, 2051 Oak Harbor Road, Fremont, Ohio, 43420 from 10am-11am, with funeral services beginning at 11am at the church. Pastor Duane Dunfee will be officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens in Clyde.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Virginia’s family.
