Aaron Vance Taylor, 91, of Fresno California, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.
Aaron was born in a small town in Missouri to Maynard and Leota Taylor. As a young man his family of nine moved to California, where they eventually settled in Easton. There he met the love of his life, Dorothy Perocelli. The two married and shared 60 devoted years together, building a family and a lifetime of cherished memories, including their treasured years living in Japan.
Aaron owned and operated a trucking company for 25 years before retiring. He enjoyed many interest throughout his life, particularly scouting, aviation, and playing pool at the senior center where he made many lifelong friends over the years.
Aaron was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 60 years Dorothy Taylor and his daughter, Debbie Taylor Fresno
He is survived by his children, Gary and Catherine Taylor of San Diego, Lori and Pete Moe of Clovis, and Karen and Greg Reid of Clovis. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Ryan Cox, Kelly Kuehn, Megan Butler, Lauren Reid, Justin Reid, Rachael Taylor, Christian Taylor, and Gabrielle Taylor as well as his beloved great granddaughter, Emmie Reid and another great-grandchild due soon.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Whitehurst Sullivan Burns & Blair Funeral Home, 836 E. Nees Ave., Fresno, CA 93720, US, on June 20, 2026, at 11:00 am.
