

Ada graduated Valedictorian from Edison High in 1940 then graduated Magna Cum Laude from Fresno State College 1944 with double degrees’ in chemistry and mathematics. She married Glen on February 9, 1952. Their first home on Fresno St was near their first grocery store Sunset Market and restaurant, Sampan. The couple welcomed 2 children into their home Michael and Lisa and set about teaching them social skills and responsibilities to humanity. Michael became a research physician, writer and film maker and Lisa a lawyer. Ada was accomplished in business and cooking Mexican tamales. She was a devoted loving wife, mother, generous and witty friend to all. She loved mahjong, world history and was passionate about kindness and social responsibility.
Ada is survived by husband Glen, son Michael, and sisters Betty and Mona.
A luncheon at 1:00 pm Sunday, July 16, 2017 at New City Restaurant, 14884 E. Shaw St. all are welcome to attend and celebrate Ada’s life.
