Alfred was a Korean War Veteran and a valley farmer for 57 years.
Alfred is survived by his loving wife, Gloria Coelho; his children, Alfred Joseph "Jay" Coelho III and Colleen Stern; their mother, Lorraine Coelho; grandchildren, Dyllan Coelho, and Evan Stern; his sister, Jeanne Steer; brother, Antone Coelho and Joseph Coelho; and his mother, Kay Coelho; daughter-in-law, Lisa Coelho; son-in-law, Randy Stern; his step-daughters, Monique Castanos, Melissa SanMarco, Stacy Gunalt, and Kelly Herman.
Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Bums & Blair Funeral Home on Sunday, November 20, 2011, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
A Graveside Service held at Fresno Memorial Gardens on Monday, November 21, 2011, at 10:30 a.m.
