

A resident of Fresno, California, Allene lived a life marked by dedication, service, and passion. She graduated from Sanger High School and went on to have a distinguished career, dedicating 34 years as a Superior Court Clerk at The Fresno County Courthouse. Her commitment to her work and her community was unwavering.
Beyond her professional achievements, Allene was deeply involved in her community. She served as the President, Vice President, and Board Member of the Central California Big Band Dance. She also contributed her time to the Fresno County Grand Jury and volunteered at Valley Children's Hospital, reflecting her generous spirit and dedication to helping others. Allene had a rich personal life filled with diverse interests. She was an avid bowler, enjoyed salmon fishing, loved dancing, and was a devoted Fresno State Bulldog fan. Traveling was another passion that always brought her joy and fulfillment.
Allene is survived by her children, John Lokey, Linda Smith, and Scott Lokey, and her loving grandchildren, Tyler Bozsum and Sarah Bozsum. She was predeceased by her parents, Olin and Dorris Thompson, her brother, Wayne Thompson, and her sister, Lois Yovino.
Allene Joyce Kahl will be remembered for her contributions to her community, her dedication to her family, and her vibrant spirit. Her legacy will continue to inspire those who knew and loved her.
A Celebration of Life service for Allene is scheduled for Friday, December 5th, 2025, at 11:00 am at Peoples Church, located in the Peoples Church Chapel, at 7172 N Cedar Avenue, Fresno, CA, 93720. All who loved Allene are welcomed to attend.
