Americo John Foglio Sr.

Americo was proud of his Italian heritage, one of six children to John and Catherina Foglio. He and his brother, Valentino, shared a partnership for years in agriculture, dairy, and the Foglio Brother's trucking businesses.

Americo enjoyed life to its fullest in his later years, happiest when surrounded by his family, always with "Bubble Gum" in his right pocket, checking on the ranch by riding on his "Gator" with his dogs.

Allan Foglio, his son, who passed in October of 2015, preceded him in death.

He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 69 years, Annie Foglio; sons, John Foglio and wife Donna, and Americo Foglio Jr. and wife Stephanie; daughters, Patricia Kloster and husband Bob, Marie Ihde and husband Gary, and Sandra Cramolini and husband Gordon. He is the proud "Nunu" grandfather to 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren, and soon to be 15. He has one surviving sibling, Dorina Abbatti.

The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff of Optimal Hospice Care for their compassion and kindness.

A Recitation of the Holy Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial will be performed at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Kerman, CA on Thursday, July 7, 2016, at 9:30 a.m. followed by an interment at St. Peters Catholic Cemetery.

Remembrances may be made to Nancy Hind's Hospice; or St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
