I have been thinking a lot about the girl who sat across from me in first period Psychology back in high school. Her name was Anita Padron. Little did I know then how much she would impact my life and the lives of our family’s?
Anita went on to become the wife of almost 33 years to my brother, Ronny. They gave our family the gift of their daughter Brittany and their son, Bradley. She also became “Auntie Funita” to my son Mikey.
I have to concentrate hard to remember a time when there were family gatherings without Anita there because she has been a part of our family for decades. Anita and Ronny have spent most of their adult years together. Our memories of Anita will live on forever in our hearts.
That girl named Anita that sat across from me in Psychology class will be missed.

Anita,

You were such a warm, kind, and friendly neighbor. I always enjoyed talking with you. It felt like we knew one another for a long time. I wish we could have had more of those moments.

You will be missed.

May God rest your soul, and give your husband Ron and children Brad and Brittany comfort in these difficult days ahead.

My deepest sympathies to all the Arnold & Padron families. When I heard I was jolted back to Sequoia middle school, where we 1st met. You were one of the crew in folklorico dancing. You remember Mrs Manjarrez? We were so young and enjoying life. Your kindness and gentle nature will always be a great memory. May you feel the love of your loved ones who passed before you as they embrace you. And may all the beautiful memories you left in their hearts, guide your family during this time. 🙏💗
