

Anna was married to Darrell A. Herzog for 66 years. Darrell and Anna met during World War II, while working for Lockheed and were married on Darrell's 22nd birthday in Glendale, Ca. After the birth of their children, Darrell and Anna moved to Fresno, where Anna worked and retired from Montgomery Wards, and Darrell worked and retired from Sears.

Anna was preceded in death by her husband Darrell; her parents, Orville E. and Della M. Cotten; her sisters, Mildred Wuolu, Margaret Beach; and her brothers, Ernest and Kenneth Cotten; her granddaughter, Shellie Herzog; and great-granddaughter, Rayshelle Venegas.
Anna is survived by her sisters, Irene Mildren of Banning, Ca., Muriel West of Oaks, ND, and Inez Poindexter of Aberdeen, SD; Darrell and Anna's two sons, Richard Herzog of Clovis, Ca. and Gene Herzog of Fresno, Ca.; her grandchildren, Bryan Herzog, Shayleen Sanborn, Darrell Herzog, Danielle Herzog, Slade Kane, Gage Kane and a bonus granddaughter, Jennifer Eldred-Levay; her great-grandchildren, Dustin Herzog, Ryan Inchaurregui, Gabriel Herzog, Tyler Rouse, Austin Herzog, Isaiah Sanborn, Aiden Herzog and Zoe Sanborn; and her first great great-granddaughter, Kinsley Ryan Herzog.
Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 12, 2012, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. followed by Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
A Funeral Service will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Thursday, December 13, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Saint Peter's Cemetery.
