Anthony was born on February 15, 1927 to Rosina and Giovanni Aiello and was a lifelong resident of Fresno. He was raised in the old Scandinavian Colony, attended Scandinavian School and graduated from Clovis High School in 1944. He enlisted in the United States Navy during World War II and upon discharge began working as a partner in the family's ranching operations until his retirement.
Tony lost his mother at a very young age and while growing up in the Depression, he worked hard to help support his father and family during those difficult years.
His life centered on his faith in God and a deep love and commitment to the well being of his family. He was a member of the Sacred Heart parish since its inception.
He enjoyed most being in the company of family. He was an entertaining story teller who had an amazing recall of events and dates in the life and times of our family.
He touched us all with his kindness and generosity and he will be sorely missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Vincent; and sister, Josephine.
Anthony is survived by his brothers, Domenic Aiello and Robert Aiello; his sister, Frances Aiello and numerous nieces and nephews.
