

.Antoinette Simone-Lambetecchio was born of Italian immigrant parents. She ran her father's fig business which became one of the largest farming businesses containing thousands of acres in the Central Valley. Her daughter Catherine was devoted to her mother Antoinette, who was considered a legend in the farming community, an innovator in the farming techniques a green thumb that was golden.
Antoinette ventured into the field of aviation owning a Piper dealership. She was the kind of woman her male counterparts admired; "Antoinette the Conqueror", most important in her character she took care of her immigrant workers, she believed in providing opportunity.
She was very close to her primary caregiver, Anna, whom she loved. Marina, appreciated caregiver, too.
She enjoyed going to the country club for lunch with her daughter Catherine and growing orchids. She enjoyed going to thrift stores with her devoted "J.R." Antoinette, a devoted Catholic whom deeply loved the pope, served on the board of many businesses and charitable organizations. Showing leadership, she was the first woman serving in positions normally held by men, becoming a leader with innovative farming.
She deeply loved the immigrant community, fostering personal growth of individuals. Always honest and straight forward, she passed away peacefully at the age of 94, surrounded by her deeply devoted daughter, Dr. Catherine Lambetecchio, and loved ones.
She is survived by her son, Anthony Lambetecchio of Fresno; daughter, Frances Lambetecchio of Redwood City; daughter, Dr. Catherine Lambetecchio; grandsons, Franke Lambetecchio of San Francisco, Bill Hemmenger of San Francisco, and Vincent Shields of Redwood City; numerous nieces, nephews, and other beloved family members.
A Recitation of the Holy Rosary and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church on Friday, February 26, 2016, at 11:00 a.m.
