Apolonia Garcia Chavez, loving known as “Angie”, came to be with our Heavenly Father, on Tuesday, January 28, 2020, at the age of 95. Angie was preceded in death by her husband Blas Chavez and daughter Rita Curtis, and survived by her sons, Richard, Ronald , and Rodney Chavez, their wives, Hortencia, Linda , and Leigh Anne , her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, extended family and friends. Angie loved God and her family dearly. She will forever be remembered singing and dancing. She will be greeted with open arms in Heaven by her loving husband, Blas, where the two can sing and dance together again.
Visitation and Rosary will be held on Monday, February 3, 2020 at Whitehurst Sullivan Burns & Blair Funeral Home located at 1525 E. Saginaw Way, Fresno, CA 93704. Visitation begins at 4pm, followed by the Recitation of the Rosary at 7pm.
Mass of Christian Burial for Angie will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Victory Church- 2838 N. West Ave., Fresno, CA 93705. Procession to the burial site at St. Peters Cemetery- 264 N. Blythe Ave., Fresno, CA 93706, immediately to follow.
