I am honored to have been Barbara's niece. She amazingly battled against many odds. I don't know why bad things happen to good people, but one truth is evident: 
2 Corinthians 4:9-11New Living Translation (NLT)9 We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. 10 Through suffering, our bodies continue to share in the death of Jesus so that the life of Jesus may also be seen in our bodies. 11 Yes, we live under constant danger of death because we serve Jesus, so that the life of Jesus will be evident in our dying bodies.
   
God never abandoned her through her journey. I hope many are encouraged by her strength and love for life! Tia, you will be missed as we continue through life's journey, but we will see each other again in Glory...Rest Well.

Babs and I became instant friends way back in 1989 when she started working with CSEA.  I am so sad to hear she has passed.  She was a wonderful person and a dear friend who will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Her family meant the world to her and brought her immense happiness, pride and fun times.  She would light up with excitement whenever sharing a story about you.  I thank you for sharing the wonderful pictures and pray the Lord brings you peace and comfort during this difficult time.  My heart and prayers go out to you.

It was an honor to work with Babs starting in the early 90's as Field Secretaries.  We had some great times at our trainings and at dinner with M. Ott.  I know that you are in a better place now. We will miss you!

One of the first field office secretaries, I had the pleasure of working with, during my transition into the CSEA family 13 years ago. I knew from the start that Babs was special,in the way she made me feel welcomed. I will always have special memories of Babs. My thoughts & prayers goes out to the family during these difficult moments.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I met Barbara back in the 90's when I started working with CSEA. She was a delight and very professional person. Barbara was always pleasant to talk to . . . she will truly be missed.

I am so sad to hear of Barbara death, (those of us who worked with her called her Babs), Babs and I came to work for CSEA at about the same time.
Babs was a wonder friend and co-worker she was caring, kind and loving women who I will miss.
May she find peace in heaven and we send our condolences to her family.
