Barbara was born July 3, 1930 in Richfield, Idaho. She graduated from high school and college where she studied nursing. She served as a nurse for 2 years in the Air Force, where she met her future husband James Russell Lambert. After they left the Air Force, they were married and moved to Bluefield WV, where she gave birth to her first son Kent Lambert. They moved to Chicago for 2 1/2 years where she worked as a nurse. They then moved to Fresno, CA where she gave birth to her second son Curtis Lambert. There she worked as a nurse at the California Armenian Home, Fresno Community Hospital, and the Veterans Affairs Medical Center until she retired in 1991.
After retirement, Barbara and James enjoyed many summers in Shaver Lake and loved spending time with their grandchildren. She was a very kind and generous woman and had a heart of gold.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Harry (1998) and Vera (1995) Pridmore, brother Ronald Lynn Pridmore (1966), and sister Janice Anne Lundquist (2018).
She is survived by her husband James Lambert; sons Kent Lambert (Jamie) of Clovis, CA and Curtis Lambert (Annette) of Fresno, CA; brother Harold Richard Pridmore of Stockton, CA; grandchildren Troy (Heather), Shawn (Ashley), Cara, and Hanna; great grandchildren Kimberly, Dakota, and Landon.
