Benselada Colmenero

Benselada Colmenero was born on September 14, 1935 to Catarino and Juanita Arias. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at the age of 78. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband Lewis R. Colemenero, her parents Catarino and Juanita Arias her sisters Lupe Arias, Concepcion Angulo, brother Angel Arias, and granddaughter Salisha Delgado. She is survived by her children: Mary Frances Mejia, Eileen Gonzalez, Robert, Michael, Phillip Colmenero, and Linda Colmenero-Lopez of Fresno and Patricia Jaurigue of Del Rey, brother Tony, Frank, Freddy Arias, and sister Mary Helen Anaya, Lusia Ruiz, Rachel Rico three son-in laws, one daughter-in-law, 27 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.

Viewing will be held at Lisle Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 from 10:00 am until 7:00 pm followed by the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Johns Cathedral on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 9:00 am followed by interment at Saint Peter's Cemetery.
