Bertha Yraceburu

She was born in Fresno on June 25, 1913 to Gottlieb and Anna Bitter. She was raised in Biola and graduated from Kerman High School on 1930. Following he marriage in 1935 to Ray Yraceburu, she moved to Avenal where she lived for 30 years. In 1965, she and Ray moved to their ranch in Kerman where she remained for the rest of her life.

Bertha is preceded in death by her parents, Gottlieb and Anna Bitter; sister, Dorothy Pretzler; and granddaughter, Wendy Yraceburu.

She is survived by son Rod and wife Barbara; daughter, Josette Williams of Tennessee; sister, Virginia Jarman of Venice, Ca; 5 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will the family will be held at Stephens & Bean Chapel on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 from 2:00 - 7:00 p.m.

A Funeral Service will be held at Stephens & Bean Chapel on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at 2:00 p.m., with interment to follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
