Betty passed away at the age of 91, on February 18, 2014. She was born to Kameyemon and Motoyo Tahara on January 13, 1923, in Fresno, CA. She lived in Pixley, CA until 1923 and then in Fresno. She was interned in Jerome, Arkansas with her father and sister Fuji. In 1949 she married Harry Hideo Hoshiko, where they settled in Fresno where Mark Stephen and Lon Wesley were born. She is preceded in death by husband Harry; son Mark; sisters, Fuji Saito and Yaeko Tahara; and nephew Dennis Saito. Betty is survived by son Lon; granddaughter, Michelle Gifford and her husband Ryan; grandson Wesley and his girlfriend Tiffany; and great-grandchildren, Jordan, Mika and Nataley; and many nieces and nephews.Visitation will be held at Lisle Funeral Home on Thursday, February 27, 2014, from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Lisle Funeral Home on Friday, February 28, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be held at Washington Colony Cemetery.
