Carlton Simmonds, age 69, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2025, at 8:20 a.m. after facing health challenges with strength and dignity.
Carlton had a distinguished career in broadcasting, beginning with the BBC in radio and television. In the early 1990s, he joined Fox Channel 26 KMPH, Fresno as Chief Engineer, where he worked with dedication and pride until his retirement due to health-related disabilities.
Carlton is survived by his sons Michael & Eddie, his loving sister Devone, four nieces, six nephews, and three great-nephews. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Carlton’s life was marked by quiet strength, professionalism, and a deep commitment to his work, faith and loved ones. He leaves behind a legacy of service, family, and kindness.
