She bravely fought and beat two separate diagnosis of cancer but finally succumbed to complications related to heart disease.
Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Bowman; and her sister, Belinda Brown.
She is survived by her niece, Colleen Brown of Oakland; her nephew, George Brown of San Jose; and her best friend and cousin, Lorraine Carte of Harrison, Arkansas.
The family would like to thank the countless friends and neighbors who helped during her long illness.
A Memorial Service will be held for Carol on Saturday, June 18, 3 pm at Lisle Funeral Home, 1605 L Street, Fresno, Ca.
