Carol developed her love of driving at age seven in rural Michigan. This love of driving stayed with her for years. Making numerous trip from Michigan to Florida and all over California. Her last car was a white Lincoln LS that had the same V8 as a Jaguar and Thunderbird. Can you imagine her cruising in the Lincoln on I-5 heading to San Diego?
Carol worked as medical records supervisor for Henry Ford Hospital. She also was the caretaker of First Baptist Church, Hazel Park, Michigan for many years. She also was head housekeeper at several hotels in Florida where her husband George worked.
She was well known for her Christmas Cookies, Bunny Cakes, and the best Mashed Potatoes. She loved her pets Andy and Tigger.
Carol was preceded in death by her mother Ethel, husband George, siblings Margaret, Joan, and Bill.
Carol is survived by her children George and Cindy, and their spouses, granddaughter Christina, and her husband, great grandchildren, Jayden, Bradley, and Nate, sister Florence, cousin Gerald, and many nieces and nephews.
Carol’s family would like to thank Dr. Joshi, Dr. Kaleka, and Dr. Dizon for caring for her. Also, her caregivers Maria, Jorge, and Lucy who took care of her every day. A very special thank you to Father Joseph Klinge and Evelyn Romero.
