Catherine Christine Saum

Catherine married Robert L. Saum in October of 1945, while he was on leave from the United States Army. They enjoyed 35 years of marriage before his passing in 1981. She taught at Hamilton Junior High School for a year, then became a lifelong homemaker. She devoted her life to her family, providing a wonderful example for all to follow.

Catherine was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Marshall Tetstall; her young son David; and her husband Robert.

Catherine is survived by her sister, Naoma Cline; and her three children, Marsha Schneider and her husband Dennis, Brett Saum and his wife Peggy, and Janet Weaver and her husband Rodney. She also leaves nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at Stephens and Bean Funeral Chapel on Monday, December 12, 2016, at 11:30 a.m.
