Charles a resident of Fresno, California passed away on July 20, 2015 at the age of 77. He was born on October 3, 1937 in Madera, California to Carlos and Jesse Armenta. He was a civil engineer for Santa Fe Burlington Northern for 35 years.
He is survived by his wife Virginia Armenta of Fresno, children Charles S. Armenta of San Francisco, Gilbert Armenta of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Cecelia Mcloughlin of Fresno, siblings Dolores Castro, Tillie Armenta, Francis Moreau, Angelo Armenta, Tony Armenta and Johnny Armenta, grandchildren Gilbert E. Armenta, Nicholas C. Wood, Charles J. Armenta, Oliver R. Armenta.
Visitation will be held at Lisle Funeral Home on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 10:00 am and followed by the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm.
Mass of Christian Burial at St Joachim Catholic Church located on 401 W. 5th Street in Madera, CA on Friday, July 24, 2015 at 9:00 am. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery in Madera.
