Clifford Eric Fisher was born on February 9, 1968, in Washington, D.C., to Clifford Farrell Fisher and Louiene Christina Fisher (née Wilcock). He graduated in 1986 from Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Greenbelt, Maryland. He served a mission to Stockholm, Sweden, for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints from 1987-1989. Eric graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science in Food Science in 1993, followed by a Master of Science in Food Science in 1997.
Eric and Heather Anne Crawford were married on April 24, 1992. He was the father of daughter Celina and sons Clifford Jared, Lucas Jon, and Matthew Eric Fisher.
Eric is survived by his wife and children, son-in-law Trevor Dodge, grandchildren Walker and Adaline Dodge, as well as his father, Clifford F. Fisher, and siblings Edward Fisher (Cynthia), Sherrie Eby, Mark Fisher (Susan), Kaye Probeyahn (George), Christina Michael, and Jonathan Fisher (Christy). He was preceded in death by his mother.
Eric was a loving family man, an amazing human, and above all, a faithful disciple of Jesus Christ. He lived his life with integrity and kindness, and was happiest when spending time with his family. He was passionate about food science and loved researching, developing, and innovating products.
Eric will be missed, but never forgotten. He was a wonderful example and influence on friends, neighbors, colleagues, and family. We know that this separation is only temporary and that we will be reunited again.
