Connie was born in Hanford, California, January 5, 1923 to Rosa Richarte Salas and Juan Salas. She was baptized in Saint Brigid's Catholic Church in Hanford and attended Southwest School, Woodrow Wilson School and Hanford High School, all in Hanford.
Connie and her husband Marin have been married for 45 years. They enjoy the company of the Steppers and Stompers Square Dancing Club, the Loyal Order of Moose, Knights of Columbus and the family of Our Lady of Victory Church in Fresno.
She is preceded in death by her parents and one son, Robert Perez.
She is survived by her huband Marin Rivas Vallejo, her sons Manuel Perez and Gilbert Perez, her daughter Judy Perez Alvarez, her brother Juan Salas and sister Antonia Rivera, 10 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
