Cordelia Rose Quigley, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, peacefully passed away on July 7, 2024, at the age of 85 in Clovis. She was born on October 7, 1938, to Calvin and Faye Young in Oklahoma.
Cordelia dedicated many years of her life as a cook in a public school district, where her warmth and culinary talents touched the lives of countless students and colleagues. Beyond her profession, Cordelia had a passion for crochet and oil painting, hobbies through which she expressed her creativity and shared her gifts with her family and friends.
She is survived by her loving children, Robert Quigley, Linda Kroeker, granddaughter Madison Kroeker, four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren, sister Joyce Klutz, and lots of nieces and nephews, all of whom were cherished treasures in her life.
Cordelia was preceded in death by her husband, Philip Quigley, as well as her son, Sam Givens, and daughter, Lynette Givens, along with her parents, Calvin and Faye Young.
A visitation to honor Cordelia's life will be held on July 22, 2024, at 9:00 AM, followed by a graveside service at Belmont Memorial Park. The family invites all who knew and loved Cordelia to join them in celebrating her life and sharing memories.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, in honor of Cordelia's memory.
