Born on April 8, 1949, in Fresno, California, Cynthia, affectionately known as Cindy, lived a life full of warmth and devotion to her family and friends. Cindy graduated from Fresno High in 1967 and continued her education at City College, graduating in 1969. She dedicated over 30 years of her career to Bank of America, where she worked as a Teller and later as a Proof Center Supervisor.
A pioneer in the sport, Cindy took up SCUBA diving in the early 1960s and cherished her trips to the central coast, especially Morro Bay and Pismo Beach. Her perfect day would be spent at the coast, enjoying the cool weather. Cindy also valued her monthly family lunch dates, and the monthly Fresno High class of 1967 dinner gatherings. She was an avid collector of music CDs and movie DVDs, and had a particular fondness for the color purple.
Cindy's joy was found in the texts, pictures, and videos sent by her nieces, nephews, and friends, which never failed to make her laugh. Her love for them was immense, and she was known for her deep care and affection for all her friends and family.
Cindy was preceded in death by her father, Don Robinson, her mother, Edna Robinson, and her brothers, Butch and Larry Robinson. She is survived by her brother, Mark Robinson and his wife Chris Robinson, along with nine nieces and nephews, twelve great nieces and nephews, and thirteen great-great nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life for Cindy will be held on October 31, 2025, at 11:30 am in the Grand Banquet Room of the Fresno Breakfast House, located at 2085 W Bullard Avenue, Fresno, CA 93711.
