Our Dearest Brother Dan,	

When you passed, our world came crashing down on all of us, your passing was  unforeseen and so sudden. You have left a big void in all our lives and in all our hearts. It is a huge and tremendously devastating time for us all. It’s difficult to even begin to process that you're no longer here with us. Each and everyone one of us will grieve and mourn in our own private way but we will all grieve the same for you. You were a tremendous loss and your passing has impacted all our lives. 

Mom was a very strong and independent woman, she never asked anyone for anything, she did what she could to raise us all.  We, however, want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts brother. You didn’t get to be a kid like us, because at a very early age you stepped up to the plate when our dad left us all. You took on the role and the responsibility to make up for the absence of our father.  You also soon took the role of becoming “The man of the house”. You took on odd jobs here and there and soon started driving Big rigs, from coast to coast to help out in every which way. You were there to help with all the financial situations for the whole family. 

We not only appreciated you but we thank you brother, from the bottom of our hearts. I hope you realized how tremendous of a help and support you were for mom and all of us.  You were the rock and the foundation of our family. We commend you for all your hard efforts. Life wasn’t easy and it was especially hard for a single mom with so many children but you were there for us all. We were so lucky to have such a great brother. 

God has you in his care now, but we hold you dear to our hearts. You were not only our brother but our friend, you watched out for us all, you helped mom raise us while growing up and in return we loved you and we as well, watched over you .. We miss you so much, we miss your daily phone calls, we miss the conversations we had with you, the time we spent together, your laughter, your jokes, and believe it or not, we miss your stubbornness and your bullheadedness too, but most of all, we are gonna miss you!

As we grew into adulthood we all parted ways but we never separated from one another. I hope you knew that we, in return, were all here for you as well.  

It eases our mind just a little to know that when you passed, Mom, Ruben and John were there to welcome you home, with open arms….You have left behind many people who’ve loved you so MUCH. . You were a devoted father, a loving brother, a great uncle, a wonderful grampa and a very caring and sincere friend to so many people. It's gonna be difficult to let go of you because of the lasting impression you left on all of us.

They say that only time and tears take away the grief but grief is the price we pay for love.  We loved you brother and we were happy to be here by your side and we would do it again and again if we had to.  That's how strong the bond and the love we had for you. 

 At this time of great loss and sorrow, we are thankful for all the many memories we had with you, for the good times and the bad, for the time we cried and the times we laughed, for the time we had with you and so thankful for the precious time we spent together. The stories you told us, of when we were all growing up. All these memories, we will cherish and hold dear to our hearts.

We all wished we could have done more for you brother but our time together was limited. It was our pleasure to have been there for you. its gonna be hard for us without you in our lives but we will focus on all the good memories we had together with you. 

We just have to remember that there’s no more suffering, no more sickness and no more pain for you. You are at peace and rest with our Lord.  One day, we will all see each other again brother.

Daniel was good brother in law always treated me with respect, we got along all the time joking around, telling jokes, he would take me for a ride in his rig when going cross country he would give me his shirt if I needed it. Will miss him, I was sad to hear of his illness he was fighting, rest in peace brother. I pray for you every night. God have mercy on our earthly souls
