David was one of the funniest guys! We looked forward to his crazy-funny accouncements which he broadcast throughout the station after the general manager left (early) for the day. He was also one of the kindest men I ever knew. It is so sad to lose him.

David was my cousin and I have many happy memories of him when we were young. He was so much fun to be around. we were always doing something crazy to get ourselves in trouble like the time I was spending the weekend at his house and we took my Uncles car and drove all the way to Santa Monica from Newhall. We were only about 12 years old. I'm so sorry I never got to spend more time with you as an adult because you were great to be around and I just have trouble putting it in words but I love you and I will miss you.

I had the pleasure of working for several years with Dave. He was like the big brother you wish you had. There was something mischievous and genuine about him, all at the same time. I am blessed to have had the oppertunity to know and work with him.

David was one of two cousins that I was close to growing up. My memories of my time with him and his mom, my aunt Orpha, were among the happiest in my life and I always cherish. He gave me so much. He took my brother and me on field trips to the beach and into LA to show us where The Beatles were staying when they were in town for their historic Hollywood Bowl appearance. His sense of humor is what made him shine in my eyes. He taught me how to be funny. I always felt I had a connection with David. I'd like to think he felt the same…
I love you dearly, Dave. I always looked up to you and admired you. There was a time I wanted to be just like you. I even went to broadcasting school and did stand-up comedy because you inspired it in me. You didn't know that did ya'?
