I am so sorry to hear of Dave's passing. We had fallen out of touch after I moved out of the area, but he is central to so many of my memories of my years after high school...working at Rotary Playland, playing fast pitch softball, and going to lots of concerts. 

In everything he did, Dave was always a big presence...not so much for his size, but for the warmth of his personality and generosity of spirit. There were countless times where he was bound and determined to have a good time and brought everyone else along for the ride.

I remember once when he called me at almost 11pm, saying we had to go to Modesto to buy Rolling Stones tickets, which were going on sale the next morning and it was the closest outlet to Fresno. I hemmed and hawed and tried to get out of it, but Dave wouldn't take no for an answer so I relented. We joined the small line forming there and it didn't take long for him to begin striking up conversations left and right. By the time the shop opened, and the line was much longer, I don't think there was a single person he didn't talk to or know his name. He was at the center of a good time as usual.

I know that words cannot heal the pain of losing someone so special and so dear. May God give you the strength to overcome the pain.

Gary and I  were deeply saddened and heartbroken when we heard of Dave's passing.  He was such a wonderful, caring co-worker  and friend at Sunnyside Station.  If I was having a rough day, Dave could always put a smile on my face.  After having back surgery, Sally and Dave would come up to me and gently rest their hand on my back and pray when it was hurting at work.  You couldn't ask for a nicer couple.
Sally our hearts & prayers go out to you and your family and we can't express enough how sad we are.  Dave will be greatly missed by all.

My condolences to Sally and her family. David & Sally have showed my kids so much love and David will truly be missed. We came from St. Helens & San Joaquin Memorial Family together.  From Victor, Denise, Mike  & Jordan. 

My first memory of Dave was being a new CCA at Cedar station and him having had a hard time with remembering my name so I told him to call me Jojo and every morning since he would see me he and smile with that big grin of his and say “Good morning Jojo!” He and Sally were what Dennis and I called couple goals; working out at the gym together and carpooling to work everyday. Dave will be missed dearly.

When I first met Dave we were seated next to each other in a drivers orientation for the post office... we instantly hit it off and was my little brother. Then he told me he was dating Sally and the he came up to me and said I ‘m going to marry Sally. I was so happy for them and they created a beautiful family.. I will always treasure his friendship and never forget what a giant of a man and so gentle and full of love for us... my love to my sister Sally and family...

I remember David from our working at the Sunnyside Post Office. Happy memory of David gently teasing Randy Massie about the singer Madonna, whom Randy despised. Sadly now, they are both gone. I'm sure they are having a great time in Heaven now. David always put us in a good mood with his upbeat attitude and smile. I will miss him until I get to see him again. May God comfort Sally and her family. Prayers for all.

My deepest sympathies! I met you and David in 1988 working as a clerk at Clinter Station.  David was always a soft spoken, happy smiley city carrier while most of the city carriers were loud and out spoken.  I have great memories of David, you and my loving Clinter Station group of co-workers who became my family many years later.  My fondest memory of David was helping him and you complete and signed your retirement paperwork with USPS Human Resources.  You were both so happy!! Afterwards, we  celebrated at Mad Duck Restaurant.  We sat and talk for over three hours!!  I will always remember all our lunches and dinner get togethers, and most of all, your friendship thru the years.  
I will miss your David, a gentle soul always with a happy smile.

Sincerest condolences for Sally and family from Joel & I.  David was the sweetest man.  He had such a great personality and a great smile.  I remember one morning at work he came over to my case and told me Joel had told him I had two tattoos & he thought my husband was just putting him on.   I told him that it was true and he asked if I didn’t mind telling him where.  I told him he was looking right at them & he got a puzzled look on his face.  I told him it was my eyebrows & he just smiled.  He will be greatly missed & I pray that Sally and family can find comfort in the Lord & the support from other family members & friends.

My condolences to Sally and family.  So many memories of growing up with Dave. Playing line ball and basketball at Jackson Elementary as preteens and teens. To watching him run the train at Roeding Park's Playland which was a sight to see Big Dave in that tiny train. Playing fast pitch softball as adults. Working with Dave for over 15yrs as Letter Carriers with the Post Office. But most of all was Dave big smile, you hardly ever saw Dave not smiling which was amazing considering some of the supervisors we had. The biggest smile you ever saw on Dave though was when he would see his wife Sally and his children and grand children. He was a kind and gentle man who will missed by all who knew him.

My husband and I send our deepest sympathy. Dave was one in a million for kindness, compassion and love.  We are grateful to have had him deliver our mail and see him at the grocery store.

We got to know Mr. Peralta  briefly just after his wife Sally retired from the USPS and he was given her route.  My impression of David was that no matter the day (hot, windy... in our early spring), he always smiled and tended to our mail beyond expectations...  several times walking to our front steps for that special medicine delivery.   I wish Sally and his surviving family all the blessings.  He leaves behind a troubled world.  We hope he took all the love that was given to him by his wife, family and friends and that his journey into the after life is awesome!

aWe had some great times on Iowa street.  O)ne of the best times was when we all went to Disneyland ,Universal  Hollywood.We had just turned 18.  We had fun cruzing belmont in  your new camero those were great times. Years later you were my grandmas mMailman. I am so sorry to of your passing .All my love to your family.
