David Weikel, age 58, passed away on May 22, 2026, in Fresno, CA. David was known for his humility, kindness, and an unmatched energy and desire to make this world a better place. David devoted his career to the mental health field and in later years completed a Psy.D. in Organizational Development. He had a passion for music, playing the bass guitar and finding joy in it until his last months of life.
He is survived by his loving wife of 11 years, their son of 9 years as well as two adult children and his mother.
In lieu of flowers, his wife asks that donations be made in David Weikel’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, Northern California Chapter.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Whitehurst Sullivan Burns & Blair Funeral Home, 836 E. Nees Ave., Fresno, CA 93720, US, on June 12, 2026, at 11:00 am.
