DeAlva (Dee) Nadine Libby was born on Dec. 31, 1928 in Geronimo, OK and passed away on Easter Sunday April 5, 2026. She moved to California along with her family in 1947. She graduated from Fresno State in 1962 and was a teacher in the Fresno Unified School District for 31 years.
Dee was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Travis G. Libby, and her son Thomas (Randy) McClintock. Dee is survived by her children and their families: Claude (Lonnie) Patterson, Bonnie McClintock, Larry McClintock, and stepchildren Gregg Libby and Connie Nerison. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and her sister, Lynn Bonander.
A viewing will be held at Lisle Funeral Home, 1605 L Street, Fresno, CA 93721, on Wednesday April 15, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A Graveside service will be held at Fresno Memorial Gardens, 175 S Cornelia Ave, Fresno, CA 93706, on Thursday April 16, 2026, at 10:00 am.
