

Deborah Dean Stalker was born March 29, 1948 in Exeter, California. She passed away January, 15, 2026 in Fresno, California. She is survived by her loving wife Mary Ann Torres, son Richard Stalker, grandson Richard (Tayla) Stalker, 3 great-grandchildren Addelyne, Brylan, and Kysen, granddaughter Abigail and her 2 great-grandchildren, her stepson Stephen Torres and stepdaughter Bernadette (James) Silva and children Isabel and Elizabeth, along with two special friends, Henry Mirandette and Joe Torres.
Deborah spent most of her life in the Fresno/Clovis area. She was a beloved hairdresser who owned the Hair Quarters Salon in Clovis, California for over 35 years. Deborah was fastidious, organized, and feisty. She was charismatic and had an infectious laugh and smile.
As an athlete herself, she enjoyed sports, especially her Monday night football gatherings with friends, watching women’s basketball and softball. Boy did she have a love hate relationship with her Green Bay Packers! She also enjoyed going to the casino hoping for a jackpot and buffet! You could always catch her at the Fresno Fair horse races in October. Deborah liked to BBQ and made the most delicious steaks.You could always count on her to cook them to the perfect temperature.
She was a friend to all. Friends and family describe her as fun, good hearted, exuberant, no nonsense and courageous. She was a force to be reckoned with and made the most of life. Growing up, she participated in music, sports, water and snow skiing, bird watching, fishing and camping. Her stepdad said she was his greatest joy in life. She loved her family and friends so very much.
Deborah was determined to live a positive and independent life. May she rest in eternal peace.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Whitehurst Sullivan Burns & Blair Funeral Home, located at 836 E. Nees Ave., Fresno, CA 93720, United States. The service is scheduled for February 28, 2026, starting at 2:00 pm.
