Demetra was a devoted loving, caring wife, mother, daughter and sister. She enjoyed caring for her garden and cooking for and entertaining family and friends, she was a very gracious hostess. Demetra was a dedicated employee and always excelled to the highest position where ever she was employed. Her work ethics weren't without merit.
Demetra will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Demetra is survived by Anthony Araujo, her loving husband of 21 years; her loving son, Austin; three sisters; three sisters-in-law; four brothers-in-law; three nieces; seven nephews; two great-nieces; and three great-nephews.
Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 17, 2010, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
A Trisagion and Funeral Service will be held at St. George Greek Orthodox Church on Thursday, November 18, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Belmont Memorial Park.
