He graduated from Central High School in 1987, and has worked in heavy equipment for years in Fresno.
Duane was preceded in death by his mother, Billie Sue Horstmeier.
Duane is survived by his dad, Dennis G. Horstmeier; step-mother, Debra Horstmeier; brother, Douglas Horstmeier; wife, Yvette Horstmeier; step-sons,
Christopher and Ryan; and numerous family and friends.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 355 Champlain Avenue, at Friant Road, Fresno on Thursday, May 14, 2015, at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Catholic Charities; or to the S.P.C.A.
