Reverend Dennis Leon Shuey, age 83, of Kerman, California passed into glory on Sunday, April 21, 2024. Dennis was born in Fresno, California to Katheren (Woods) Shuey and Earl Shuey. Dennis was an evangelist, southern gospel singer, and founder of Jubilee Evangelistic Ministries. He was an avid CB enthusiast, loved to play his guitar and sing with family at every opportunity.
Dennis is survived by his wife of 53 years, Alice Shuey, his daughter, Janis (Shuey) Ferguson (husband Richard), sons: Robert Godin, Keith Shuey; Brian Godin; Thomas Godin, and Allen Shuey; his sister Karen Slentz (husband Bill); Seven grandchildren: Lyssah, Nicole, Jared, Christopher, Trevor, Nia and Luke; as well as 8 great-grandchildren.
Dennis was preceded in death by his father Earl Shuey and his mother Katheren Shuey, and great-granddaughter Jubilee Fry.
A Celebration of Life service for Dennis will be held Friday, May 17, 2024, 11:00 AM at Stephens and Bean Funeral Chapel, 202 North Teilman, Fresno, CA 93706. Following the service will be an interment at Belmont Memorial Park, 201 N Teilman Ave, Fresno, CA 93706.
