While visiting Iowa had great shopping days with Nana and Papa. Shopping at thrift stores, funny stories, and  family dinner.   Had a beautiful time sharing these days.

We were headed to the John Wayne home and museum, we saw this sign and made an illegal u turn in a quick moment. We had to see this place and what it was all about. It was not quite 10am yet, and knew they were closed but had to go and check it out.  We got there and took pictures,  while the owner saw us outside and came outside and opened his  winery just for us. We told him we were from California and loved his sign. He began to tell us some stories and we shared some ourselves. We sampled some great wines and bought a few bottles, we thanked him for his time and was laughing the whole time.. that we were literally living LA Vida Loca!!! Great memories with my best friend and  I know  that I have a beautiful angel above watching over us.. love you always Diana!! Xoxoxo

Me and Diane on our way to see John Wayne home and museum and we came across this sign.. We had to go check it out. I made a quick u turn middle.of the road and had to go find this place. It was not even 10am yet and we found the place knowing it was closed. The owner saw us outside taking pictures and he came outside and invited us and in and opened us his winery just for us. Sweetest man ever. He taught us about his special.wines.. we sampled some great ones.. we shared some stories with him and he with us and we explained we were from California and we bought  some wine to  enjoy for later. It was such a special surprise and memory I won't forget.. living LA Vida Loca!!  Love and miss my friend xoxo xoxo my beautiful angel above.

Diane was not just my best friend, she was also family. Raised our girls together, and she helped raised my son for the first 5 years of his life. Me and Diane loved seeing new things, exploring new places, eating good food and wine, and we did as much as we could with the time we spent together..lots of laughs and tears having our  special girl talks. I will forever miss her, but very grateful for the memories I was able to have with this special lady. 

Diane was telling Devin how proud she was of him, and telling him she couldnt wait to see him again when he graduates and play his last year.  She always loved this boy even before he was born.
