Mr. Dominic J. Aiello

March 7, 1925October 9, 2011

Dominic Aiello passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2011, after a courageous and difficult ten year battle with liver disease. His two children were at his bedside. His lovely wife Tina predeceasing him by seven months wel- comed him home to eternal life.

Dominic was born on March 7, 1925, one of six children born to Giovanni Aiello and Rosina. He graduated from Clovis High School and shortly after met the love of his life, Tina. They were married in May, 1949, raising two devoted children, John and Cynthia.

Dominic resided in Fresno his entire life employed in the farming industry. He was an active and energetic member of the Italian Catholic Federation and the Sons of Italy Lodge serving as branch president for many years.

Dominic was never impressed with material belongings, enjoying only the simple things in life. He cherished his family and grandchildren and he instilled in his children a strong work ethic.

He especially enjoyed the time he spent in Morro Bay with his family. He loved his garden with the many beautiful ponds.

Dominic was always there for his family and would do anything for them. He will be sorely missed and never forgotten.

Dominic's parents; his wife, Tina; brothers, Anthony and Vincent; and sister, Josephine Roveto preceded him in death.

He is survived by his son, John and his wife Lucinda; their children, Amanda Beck, husband, Chris, Brett Aiello; daughter, Cynthia Aiello-Blake; brother, Robert Aiello; sister, Frances Aiello.

My brother and I are the last of the Coviello family who would remember Dominic. He and Tony would occasionally visit our father, Victor, and I remember Dom driving truck to haul our grape to the winery. He was a very, very nice fellow and my Dad thought a lot of him. May it give you peace to know that Dominic is fondly remembered.

Sincerely,
Richard and Jim Coviello
