Mrs. Dora R Waldron

Dora graduated from Washington Union High and then worked as a Nurses Aid at VMC for over 30 years where she retired. She was very active in her Church Parish as well with Sacred Heart School. Our mother loved life and her happiest times would be spending time with family and friends.

Dora was preceded in death by her husband Dan, and her son Robert Waldron.

She is survived by her son, Daniel and his wife Yolanda; daughters, Clara Waldron, Lucy Waldron and Laura Bosniak and her husband Andy. She also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She will also be missed by her brothers, Cruz and Manuel Rios; sisters, Margaret Vasquez and Lucy Neri along with various nieces and nephews and family friends.

Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Monday, June 17, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. followed by Recitation of the Holy Rosary at St Helen's Catholic Church at 7:00 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Helen's Catholic Church on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
