Dorothy married John C. Allen at Oak Grove, Louisiana July 5, 1945. Dorothy was a successful business woman in the real estate industry as a broker for over 30 years.
A special thanks to her caregiver Nancy Aparicio and Orchard Park Assisted Living for their loving care after the passing of her husband August 25, 2009.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, John C. Allen; and her brother, Donald Vinzant.
She is survived by her son, John M. Allen; her two granddaughters, Ashley C. Allen and Andrea E. Allen; and her niece, Barbara Sommers and her husband Tom Sommers.
A Graveside Service will be held at Fresno Memorial Gardens on Friday, February 1, 2013, at 11:00 am.
