Dorothy M Crouch

She has lived most of her life in Fresno. She was a 1936, Roosevelt High School graduate. On March 21, 1937 she married Hershel M Crouch, They had three children: Betty, Jim and Mary. Hershel passed away on June 13, 2002. They had been married 65 years. Dorothy worked at Sears (Fresno) for 18 years and retired at age 65-on January 15, 1983. She has been an active member of the assemblies of God churches since 1952.

Those who have gone on before her are her parents; her brother, Harry F. Allen (2000); her first daughter-in-law, Rene (Le Roy) Crouch (1990); her youngest daughter, Mary L. Crouch, Atkinson (1991); and her youngest grandchild, Mikel L. Atkinson (2007).

Those surviving Dorothy are: Betty Adams her daughter and her husband Layman Adams; her son Jim Crouch and his wife, Katherine Crouch; and Dorothy's sister, June (Allen) Bibb; 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Ray and Geri Crouch; and nieces and nephews, and one cousin, Joyce Winn.

Her life was centered on her family and her Lord.

Visitation will be held at Lisle Funeral Home on Sunday, April 1, 2012 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Lisle Funeral Home on Monday, April 2, 2012 at 11:00 am, followed by a burial Belmont Memorial Park.

Remembrances may be made to favorite church or charity in lieu of flowers.
