Dorothy Mae Maxwell

Dorothy was born on January 12, 1932 to Vell and Inez Vaughn in Red Water, Texas. She passed away on December 3, 2011 in Fresno at the age of 79. Dorothy love to fish and after 30 years of being gaming industry she retired.

Dorothy was a devoted and lovely member of her church and proud to have been part of the ministry

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Lula Mae Randolph and Vasie Vaughn, brothers, James, Adell and Robert Vaughn, and her daughter, Ella Roberts.

She is survived by her sisters, Willie Mae Wilson, Ruth Vaughn, children, Maryann Harris, Lois Cook and her husband Paul, Joyce Harvey and her husband Cetric and her son, Russell and ten grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren and one great great grandson. She also leaves behind a host of nephews and nieces

Viewing will be held at Lisle Funeral Home, Thursday, Dec. 8th and Friday, 9th, 2011 from 11:00 am until 7:00 pm.

Graveside service at Mountain View Cemetery, Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 1:00 pm.
