Mom raised her family with unconditional love and support. She loved to bake, crochet and garden.
Dorothy is survived by the father of their children, Charles Schoelen; five sons and one daughter and their spouses, Jim and Betsy, Patti and Chet, Don and Susan, Mike and Trisha, Kenny and Carol, John and Pat; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Thursday, January 3, 2013 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. followed by Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Helen's Catholic Church on Friday, January 4, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Fresno Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Twilight Haven and St. Helen's Catholic Church.
